The most positive role model for girls, Rapunzel

Among the princesseswe discussed in class I think Rapunzel is the most positive role model for girls. The reason I chose her out of other 11 princesses like Cindrella, Snow white, Tiana, pocahontas and etc is because I think she is the most postive role model for girls. The reason why I think like that is because she is well behaving when she is at home.
First, I think the only bad part about her would be not listening to her fake mother and leaving the tower however, I wouldn't necessarily call that bad thing sinceshe wanted to taste the feeling of a freedom. If I look at it like that than her mother is the person who is really bad. Since she wanted the hair all to her self she wanted her protected but that also means keeping Rapuzel's freedom so that was why it was kind of bad and evil. Anyways, that was the only bad thing about her and the good thing is that when she leaves the tower the world is very dangerous however, Rapuzel doesn't think that way. When she was in the tower she always thought that world is very cruel place but when she get out of the tower even when she was being chased by some soldiers, she thought that the world is thrilling and fun. Being positive is kind of the main point of this final essay. Also in the end of the movie Rapunzel cuts her hair because it has magical ability but her mother stop it however, that didn't stop her from cutting the hair because she cared about Rider. So thinking about someone else could be another positive thing to teach girls.
In conclusion I think Rapunzel can be the most positive role model for girls because of these reasons. Thank you for reading my final essay.

    Have you ever watched the movie called Brave? For me it was very inspiring and also touching movie. Brave was made in 2012. What I think of this movie is that it is trying to teach a lesson while trying to make the movie watchers enjoy the movie. I learned to listen to parents and say sorry if there is something that I  need to be sorry about, meanwhile, I really enjoyed the movie.

    In the beginning of the movie, Merida was very young and she loved to shoot arrows. But when she grew up more she acted more like a princess even though she didn't wanted to but since she was she had to choose a man to marry. But Merida chose the competition as Archery and she beat every single boys so she doesn't has to marry. Since she hate her life, she followed the wisps and went to the witch's house and got a magic cake from her. That cake has ability to turn person into a bear so she accidently turned her mother into a bear and she regrets afterwards.

    She lives her life in the forest with her mother as a bear. Then she found a way to fix her mother. So she does it but since it didn't work on the second sunrise, she was keeping on saying sorry to her mother and it turns out that, that was the key to turning the bear back into her mother. So she changed and Merida and her mom both changed and they lived her life happily ever after(that's how most of the Disney movie ends by the way).

    In conclusion I think that Merida was very smart making the right choice and she did what she felt and also did the right thing. I think that was one of the big positive thing of her.

	DAILY ACTIVITIES: Merida's mom is a queen so Merida was supposed to be a princess however, she doesn't want to be but instead she is very energetic and outdoors type so her daily activities will be running, riding horse and shooting etc.
	GOOD POINTS: She is very energetic and outdoors type so that is kind of good for your body and also Merida is able to speak if she likes it or not, If you don't you are going to be stuck like that and the next generation is going to suffer like her.
	BAD POINTS: In this movie, Merida's personality was kind of shown as selfish and stubborn. She doesn't even try once and say no if she doesn't like it so I think that is the bad point of Merida.

	DAILY ACTIVITIES: When she accidently turned into a frog she showed a lot of positive sides of her and I think she enjoyed that kind of life. So I think that her daily activities will be exciting by playing all day.But also her part is to be a princess in the movie so I think when she is living in our world, she would always act like princess.
	GOOD POINTS: In the early parts of the film Tiana shows a natural ability of culinary art. Also, when she turned into a frog she adapted very well since she is almost positive so showing to the movie watchers that she could live her life as a frog without any harm.
	BAD POINTS: The bad part of Tiana will be being kind of negative. When she turns into a frog she doesn't think much while when a frog is talking it is very unusal so you should ask more questions about like how you turned into a frog and also why do I need to kiss you? Since she didn't ask that shows that she is kind of naive.
	OTHER: Tiana is the first African American Disney princess and 9th disney princess. She has a dream of opening her own big restaurant. Her dad is James and her mom is Eudora.

30 days challenge

After watching this 30 days challenge video I felt that sicne 30 days are just going to pass easily and it isn't a long or a short time, I felt that I should choose something to do for 30 days because if I don't, 30 days are just going to be meaningless. Since I have a bad habit I'm going to change that and also I want to acheive something while I'm in Global Leadership Program for Students(GLPS) camp. The bad habit that I want to change is that I scream, shout or be mad really easily or often. To fix that kind of problem I should really care about other people's feeling more and also when I'm mad just thinking about the things that make me happy. The thing that want to acheive is better English. Since I'm in the English camp and I speak English more often(unless I get a EOP paper), I should practice more and always try to improve English. For example, better Grammer, Writing and also Speaking. So that is my 30 days challenge and I really hope I can acheive it. 

why should children teach adults

 After watching TED about Adora Svitak I realized that children that age can also give a very inspiring speech but I mostly realized that adults teach children but I think there are somethings that adults should also learn from children. Since children are very pure in imaginations and has less stereotypes about a lot of things. For example, if adults have a stereotype of how building should look like, meanwhile children doesn't \know much and doesn't have stereotype so I think children can be a way better architect and the finished building's design might be better than adult's. Since children is something that you all go through in your life, I think you should remember what it was like and how to think like one of them. Then I think you can increase your imagination. Also I think age difference is just something that limits children from having fun. Children doing things that they like will be good for this world since they are going to grow up and if they do whatever they want, their future will be better. Self introduction

Today I would like to introduce about myself. I was born in the year 2000 and to be specific september 29th so I'm turning 14 years old. My home town is in Seoul and I have been to a couple of different countries like Canada, United states of America and also Japan. I like to play lots of sports and I'm good at some of those sports. For example, I like playing soccer, baseball, badminton, Taekwondo etc. I usually like playing with my friends and I play sports with them. In school, I usually study hard and I'm satisfied about my grades. My favorite subject is Physical Education and I always love that class more than anything. My favorite food is noodles and also I'm not a big fan of mushrooms. Anyways now I'm in the GLPS camp(which is placed at Korean Minjok Leadership Academy) and so far I'm loving every minutes of it so that is most about me so bye-bye.
